Corbin’s Crusaders Summer Day Camp Gives Back
GREENWICH, CONNECTICUT Corbin’s Crusaders Summer Day Camp hosted a Free Basketball Clinic for Kids in Crisis, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization serving the Greenwich and Rye communities.
Corbin’s Crusaders Summer Day Camp held a basketball clinic that included fun and challenging drills, tactical play instruction, a half-court scrimmage and a raffle benefiting Kids in Crisis.
"We spend every day after school working with kids from ages 3-10 and find that youth benefit so much from amazing instructors and organized sports. We are honored to host this basketball clinic and give any proceeds to Kids in Crisis and believe our partnership with them is a bright spot for many,” said Peter Corbin, Co-Director of Corbin’s Crusaders Summer Day Camp.
The event was held on March 10th from 2-4 PM at the Bendheim Western Civic Center in Greenwich and also featured a raffle for a Lebron James Jersey donated by Corbin’s Crusaders Summer Day Camp.
"We feel lucky to be able to host this free clinic for lots of children, which includes instruction from former college basketball players to teach them fundamentals and help them improve their skills. For everyone attending, this clinic was an amazing opportunity. That is the magic of Corbin’s Crusaders,” said Wendy Corbin, Corbin’s Crusaders Summer Day Camp Co-Director.
