    Event Description:
Junior League of Greenwich to host “Beauty and the Beast” Greenwich CT – The Junior League of Greenwich is excited to announce its Children’s Concert Fundraiser, “Beauty and the Beast,” on Saturday, October 22nd at the Greenwich Country Day School Performing Arts Center. Performed by Plaza Theatrical Productions, there are two shows - 11 am and 3 pm.   “Beauty and the Beast” is the classic story of Belle, a French girl who dreams of more than her provincial life, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped in a spell placed by an enchantress.  If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the spell will end and he will be transformed to his former self.  But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson before the final petal falls out of his magical rose, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity.   There are three categories of seating – VIP, Orchestra and Balcony.  VIP includes a Meet & Greet, pictures with the cast after the show, and premium seating. Families can also donate a ticket to a child who might not otherwise be able to see live theatre.  Advanced ticket purchase online only, and seating is limited. Funds raised from the Children’s Concert go directly toward supporting impactful community projects that are identified, designed and implemented by the Junior League of Greenwich. Come create memories that will last a lifetime!  For more information and to purchase tickets, please visit www.jlgreenwich.org About the Junior League of Greenwich The Junior League of Greenwich has been bettering the community for over 50 years.
